This number is based on its paying subscribers, which totaled 301.6 million worldwide at the end of 2024. Literally worldwide, as the number of countries where Netflix has launched its platform exceeds 190. 

Since the launch of NetFlix.com in 1998, the company has built a rich history full of lessons to draw from. In the 27 years since its founding, Netflix has consistently outsmarted its competition and overcome numerous challenges.

Netflix has dared to take risks by leading with its innovations, without knowing exactly what the future would look like. This was made possible by the people at the company, who have always prioritized the interests of the company, with a mission to make Netflix a success with the best team possible.
